Privacy notice

Who we are
SG Bench Room is run by [ORGANISATION OR YOUR NAME] ("we"). For any question about your personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer at [DPO EMAIL].
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use "Need a lawyer? Contact us", we collect your name, phone number or email, your message and, if you choose, the question and verdict from your council.
- Council cases. The facts and question you type into the council are sent to our server and to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI model, to generate the debate. We do not store them. Your browser keeps your last council on your own device.
- Technical data. Our server uses your IP address, in a one-way scrambled form kept for about an hour, to limit how often the council and form can be used. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs.
Why we use it
We use enquiry details only to reply to you about your enquiry. We use council cases only to run the council you asked for. We do not sell your personal data or use it for marketing without your separate consent.
Who handles it for us
- Hostinger, which hosts this website.
- Google, whose Google Sheets service stores enquiries.
- Anthropic, which processes council cases to generate the debate.
Some of these providers may process data outside Singapore. [DESCRIBE THE SAFEGUARDS YOU RELY ON.]
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for [PERIOD, FOR EXAMPLE 12 MONTHS] after our last contact with you, unless we need them longer for a legal reason, and then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see or correct the personal data we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to being contacted, by writing to [DPO EMAIL]. Please do not include sensitive details about your case in the enquiry form; we will discuss those with you directly.
Not legal advice
SG Bench Room is an educational simulation. The council's advisors are fictional, role-based characters, and nothing on this site is legal advice.
